i tried to load a map to my garmin 1340 and failed can somebody tell me how to get rid of the cannot unlock map from start screen

What map?
How are you trying to load it?
Do you have a valid unlock code for the map for that specific GPS unit?
Have you gone through the unlock wizard in MapSource?
