Hi, I just bought a nuvi 260W and I'm planing a trip to Ireland. I'll need to get the Europe maps, obviously, and my choices appear to be to buy them on DVD or on an SD card. I'm also thinking of getting the SCDB for it (http://www.scdb.info/en/) so I'll have POI for all the traffic enforcement cameras over there.

Has anyone here used the SCDB? If so, do you know how much space it takes on the unit? Can it be loaded into the internal memory, or must it be housed on an SD card? This could influence my choice for what format I buy the Europe maps in obviously.

Any other comments on SCDB? How well it works, etc?

Info from the owners of SCDB

I was able to contact the owners of SCDB directly and they indicated that yes you can load the speedcam database without an SD card, so that means you can get the Europe maps on an SD and also be able to add the SCDB POI to the unit if that's your preference.

I'm still interested if anyone here has had any experience with the SCDB in terms of seeing how accurate it is, etc. A one year subscription is only 10 euro so I may well try it out; but still I wouldn't mind hearing from anyone on this forum who's used it before.
