Freedom isn't free...thank you veterans! Heard about the tests to detect PANCREATIC CANCER? There aren't any! In Memoriam: #77 NYPD-SCA/Seattle Mike/Joe S./Vinny D./RTC!

That was very interesting!

Accident with My First Car

My first car was a 58 Chevy and I remember getting rear-ended at a stop light. The other guy was doing less than 30 MPH and jammed on the brakes before hitting my car, but still almost ended up in my back seat! I have had the unfortunate experience of being involved in two serious accidents in much newer cars and really appreciate every improvement in vehicle safety that has been made. Seat belts, safety glass, steering wheels - their all good to me!

Nice

Great video... My first car was a 1957 VW Bug.

There also a lot of small

There also a lot of small things added to the vehicles-- like a pin that stopped the hood from sliding into the passenger compartment in an accident.

Great video!

Change

Just goes to show that sometimes change is good.

After seeing this

After seeing this video.....I can't imagine what would have happened in my 67 VW Bug....ouch

Heck of a thing

Heck of a thing to do to a perfectly good 59 Chevy laugh out loud

1959

Excellent video. Hopefully this will help change people's "bigger is better" notion. The big heavy Impala crushed like a tin can while the Malibu's passenger compartment was nearly intact. Makes me glad to drive a modern vehicle (even though the old ones look cooler.)
