I have a Garmin 855 gps. My question, If I am following a route and I want to go to the poi and look at fast food. After all is done, how do I get back to my route with out going to "Where To" again.

On the 750 you would just go back to the main screen and then tap MAP. It will then return you to the route in progress. Not sure though if its the same on the 855.

Just to add. A fast way to get back to the map screen is to press and hold the Back button which will get you back to the Home screen and you can then hit the Map button.
If you are using the POI information to find a place to eat, why not just choose the route to button, then you will be given a choice to use the restaurant POI as a waypoint or as a new final destination. You could then choose waypoint and the restaurant will be added as a stop along the route you previously had set up.

Use Voice Command
Just use voice command and say "View Map"

on my 2720, while navigating a route, I would use Find and one of the selections is "along the current route". I pick the place of interest and then add it to my current route.
Hope it works about the same way with the 855, as I am thinking of upgrading later this year. Routing is important to me and when on a route, one needs to be able to easily insert additional POIs on the fly - which my 2720 does.

I used the fast food as an example. All I wanted to know is how to get back to my route. It look like I have to go through Map. I will try using the voice to see if that works.
