I open my brand new 720 in Reno last weekend, I was going to where the air races are being held. I found this funny thought. I put in the air field and NO hits at all. Stead air field. I tried many different things. Different POI categories and just stead and other things. No hits at all. I did get there, with the help of the internet.
Now when I did get there I zoomed out and there on the map was the air field, plain as day. Just no POI attached. Strange.

I agree that sometimes searching in the method that seems intuitive to us does not work. However, there have been other times that I have found what I thought would have been very obscure POIs without any difficulty. Go figure...
