magellan roadmate 1412 problem.....

 

Help! My 1412 startup screen suddenly shows a white background with a serial # input screen. When I input my unit's s/n, the gps won't accept it and I have been "stuck" on that screen for 2 weeks now. Magellan has tried to troubleshoot it unsuccessfully over the phone. I get a message on the 1412 saying "Please Insert MGNSHELL Card" Any ideas?????

Trying to troubleshoot this from northern Canada is kinda tough....
