I paid $500 for my 750 but also have no regrets. It was my first GPS and I have learned a lot since then. With the life time maps I should be able to use it for a long time. The next one I buy, for sure, will not come close to $500 and will come with more whistles and bells then I care to blow or ring.
agree - I'm considering an 855, but waiting for holiday pricing. I use a lot of route planning, and there are only 2 models of Garmin which have it, so my choices are limited due to desire for this feature.
