There are several discussions regarding this already. You may search for it.
It would be nice if it has a full functioning web browser connected with 3G and offer free lifetime service... but as it stands this is basically the same as MSN Direct except you do not get a lifetime service option. It also uses EDGE, which from my experience on my iPhone is quite slow (less than half the speed of 3G).

A browser would make the device illegal for driver's use in mamy jurisdictions.
I haven't gone to the web site to read up on the details, however note that MSN Direct only functions in select markets and EDGE is fairly ubiquitous.
Also, compared with the data rates that you get from the SCA data sent by MSN Direct, the speed is a an order of magnitude better than the present offering - so if all they're doing is sending traffic, weather and such, then EDGE is just fine.
EDGE?
EDGE?

EDGE?
Is a GSM cellular technology data transfer acronym. Think AT&T (mostly...).
