I for one plan to brave the crowds for some early morning shopping on Friday. Our house is pretty well outfitted with GPS units right now, but I may pick up a new card reader that works with Micro SD. This will allow me to finally see what my i2 is doing with its memory card.
Here is a link to one of the sites that post sale previews:
Is anyone else planning to join the rest of us crazed shoppers?

Jon is one of those crazy nuts that actually wakes up at 3 in the morning to go stand in line. I choose to stay home in bed and sleep.

I staked out a place in line at 2AM a couple years ago and walked out with some fun memories and a pretty good deal on a laptop.
Some times you just gotta shop

deals?
So did anyone score big on a GPS unit? I got a Magellan RM 3000T for $399 but am already considering trading it back in. I'm looking for, as you suggested JM, something that allows me to follow my own trail of breadcrumbs and if the G2720 does that then I guess I'm in the market for that unit. I just found a unit at pcrush.com for $618.25 in stock. Do you guys think that's a good deal? It's post Black Friday, but it sounds like a good deal to me. BJ's wholesale has this same unit for $999 right now, which I think is too much.

2720
2720 is one of the oldest automotive models in Garmin's current lineup. They recently dropped the 2730, which was slightly newer than 2720. I wouldn't be surprised to see 2720 discontinued soon.
In any case, you should have a look at the manuals on Garmin.com to make sure the features will work they way you'd like.
