I should have bought a couple of the 885t from buy.com when they sold them refurbished for $199.

It was a steal but sold out in a hurry.

I'll bet they were just the ones that were sent back to Garmin because of the firmware problem and all they needed was the battery to be disconnected and reconnected and the new firmware installed.

Bought mine four months ago for $349 and then added a three year warranty, I have loved it since.
Especially the hands free voice activation abilities.

The only problem I see and am not sure if anyone knows of a shortcut, is when I am scrolling for a phone number, I have to keep repeating page down to get to the person's number that I wish to dial.
I am using an I-Phone as the bluetooth unit.
