Kenwood DNX 9140 - POIs and Favorites

I just installed the Kenwood DNX 9140 unit in the car which comes with Garmin navigation in-built. Have a couple q's about this:
1. I uploaded custom POI files, which went fine but it does not show the 4th column info (address). The same file works fine on the nuvi 360 and 370. I tried putting the info within double quotes, as well as without; but both do not display the address info. Any ideas?
2. I was able to connect to the unit using a mini-USB cable. The unit gives 2 options - Garmin mode or USB mode. In USB mode I can navigate the folder structure, but could not find the current.gpx Favorites file that exists in the other nuvi units. I also tried using Mapsource and tried importing info using Receive from Unit option, but here also only Maps option is enabled; waypoints etc are greyed out. I would like to extract the Favs file for editing on computer as well as backup. Any ideas?
Put it in "Garmin Mode" and
Put it in "Garmin Mode" and use Mapsource to download all your information (tracks, waypoints...etc)
Works like a charm via laptop and USB cable.

I don't see column-4 info unless I press "More" which is only available on certain screens.
Perhaps you've not noticed the option?
Mine is a Nuvi... I don't know about the Kenwood.
