Thanks

Working under Firefox 3.5.2 and IE 8 after a couple of restarts. FYI, the installation requires shutdown of all browser windows.

Mac version still 2.7.3

The Mac version is still 2.7.3, June of 2009:

Don't know if it has the same problems which were fixed in this Win update or not.

Thanks for the heads up!

After Install

After you install communicator do you have to do anything else or does it just run in the background ?

Awesome

Thank You smile

Just Great

Another outstanding software update. My dashboard goes into Scanning for devices forever.

Close browser

The update also seemed to clear out my IE cache and/or cookies. I had to relog on to this and other forums where I had the "remember me" preference set.

Ditto

Mine, too. IE8 for me, if that matters.

No Go

The program finds my devices when it makes a check after the installation, but when I go to my dashboard it searches forever.

They just forced me to

They just forced me to upgrade to the new version for my Edge in order to upload track data.. Was pretty painless =)

Hmm

It seems a new Garmin Communicator Plugin has been foisted upon users, namely 2.9.1.0, and I was forced to install the extension, and plugin for FF.

I'm not happy.

Even then, there were problems reading my nuvi, and had some serious problems before getting to My Dashboard.

Garmin, WTF are you doing to us?! Grrr!
