I AM READY FOR FALL

--
Everyday is a GREAT day :)

Me Too

I'm also ready for Fall, even though we have just started to get really warm weather. I love the bush in the fall with all it's Autumn colors and the smells of decaying plant life. Grouse hunting is a tradition for me and I'll sure hate it when I'm too old to participate.

Summer

Have always loved Summer, but as I get older Fall is getting to be my favorite. Went to the park today with grandbabies and we all came home dripping wet!!

What Summer?

This year Summer has been more like Fall in Chicago. Its already August 13th, I still don't have any red tomatoes on my plants yet!

Not bad now

Not bad now but the Pacific Northwest has been really hot and dry this summer. From June 1st to just the other day there was only one day with measurable rain at Sea-Tac airport in Seattle (1/4 inch).

National Weather Service office in Phoenix says.....

"July 2009 was the 3rd hottest July for AZ"

Right now it is 93 degrees with a dewpoint of 61 degrees here in Phoenix. I am still wearing my flannel longjohns, earmuffs and gloves. I can't wait until the weather REALLY warms up!

I bet

Beautiful summer

It's been the nicest summer I can remember in the Chicago area in over 30 years. My July electric bill was at April levels, reflecting that the CAC has hardly been needed at all. My CAC had its annual service recently and as I expected, the CAC service guys and installers are hurtin' cowboys in the Chicago area. No business at all, my guy said.

JMoo On

it's been simply perfect and very comfortable

dagarmain I agree with you, same here in Cleveland!

I've heard that people talk about the weather when they don't have anything else to say!

texas heat

I'm sick of all these 100F+ degree days here in TX. I want summer to be over!

shipwreck...

Great avater. Col. Jack O'Neill would be pleased.

(Yeah, I know he became a general in the eighth season, but that's when the series fell apart...)

Garmin 765T...Is it about the destination, or is it about the journey?

Getting Early Start

Going to Ouray 4wheeling Sept 20th for four days to see the fall foliage. Going through Taos, Summitville Ghost Town Road. After Ouray going to Alpine Tunnel, Palisades, Hancock Pass, and St Elmo, then to Boulder area to visit friends.

September in Colorado at over 12,000 feet is cool.

Too hot

It will hit 90 here in Minneapolis today,, That is about 25 degrees to hot for me! Bring on Fall!

Wishing for the 90 degree days

Austin, TX have had 50+ days of 100 degree weather. And no relief in sight. And when we see rain in the area, it always for some reason leaves us dry. A weather guy showed a map with recent rainfall. Everybody has gotten some rain. But it showed a donut hole right over Austin. Other parts of the country get flooded, we don't get anything. We will enter stage two water rationing on Aug 24th.

Please send some of your nice summer weather and some of that water from the skies!!! It does feel weird to wish for rain, but that is what we do.

Fall already?

Too cold here in Canada. It seems like it will going straight from winter to spring to fall. No summer at all. At least there are no mosquito to swat.

can't wait

Spent 1/2 of August moving in 90-100 degree weather, so can't wait for 70's or lower temperatures!
