Rename On The PC
You rename the file(s) on your PC (not the GPS) before you run POI Loader. For example, this is how I have mine set up on my PC:
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Redlight-Cameras.bmp
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Redlight-Cameras.csv
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Redlight-Cameras.wav
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Speed-Cameras.bmp
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Speed-Cameras.csv
C:\My Documents\POIs\Traffic Cameras\Speed-Cameras.wav
When I run POI Loader and it asks me for the folder where the source files are located, I specify C:\My Documents\POIs\ as the source folder.
POI Loader will then take all the source POI files and create a single file called poi.gpi on the GPS.
