Google Earth POI's

I used Google Earth to make my first POI file last week then used POIEdit to get the long/lat and to save and edit list. However when doing this it does not include the address or the city. How do I get this info included on the list?

One other solution

I normally collect the addresses and use GPSVisualizer to do the geocoding. If you select Google as the database, you can also tell it to give you the additional data fields indicating the address resolution precision. This is limited to 100 addresses at a time, but having the precision information is invaluable.

I then verify any address that did not resolve to an address precision using itouchmap or Yahoo maps. The most common reason an address won't geocode is the the city in the address is wrong. The second most common problem is the name of the street not matching what is in the map data.

It takes a little longer on the front end, but the maintenance time is greatly reduced.

cool

i'll give it a try. i'm going to attempt to do a little caesars poi list. rather eat cheap pizza than mcdonalds.

wait a second...

by doing that do you have to manually compile the address list? that won't be happening on the little caesers poi list as there are too many locations. is there a program that you can use the lat. and long. and convert that into an address?
