I wonder if there is any interest in tracking the most downloaded POI files?
A good solution would track stats for different time periods (e.g., last day / week / month, etc.) It would take some custom programming to set this up on a web page, but I think it's a good idea.

Hi Jonathan,
You may want to reconsider, or at least implement an ISP blocker. I just wrote a script that will do an unattended, continuous download of a POI file as fast as the site will allow. Anybody that can do this will make the top 'Downloaded POI' list.
