Issue with loading CSV files

Thank you in advance.
I downloaded csv POIs and put them in a folder on my Mac. I have the Garmin Nuvi 255W hooked up to the computer and have installed the POI loader.
But when I point the software to the files to download them to the unit, they are all greyed out.
I don't have MS Excel installed, but that shouldn't make a difference (right?).

shelltops.If you have put the csv file in a folder on your computer.For example
>My pois=main folder
>>Cracker Barrel.csv
When you run poiloader and it gets to browwse select the main folder.Then continue on with poiloader.Once completed you should get message so many pois have been loaded.Once completed remove gps from computer and go to where to,extras and touch custom pois and you should see what you downloaded.

Also, be sure you are selecting the FOLDER and not the FILE.
It worked
Apparently, I had too many files. It's the only thing I can think of. I put a few files in a folder and it worked. Too many and it didn't.

There is a file limit users have run into. Read this topic:
