2010 Garmin Nuvi Map update

When any of you updated your maps, did your personal POI's integrate with the new map update?

The POI's I have gained from this site i could easily replace after the upgrade. The personal ones.. what a pain that would be!

Updating maps will not remove your favorites, or previously loaded custom POIs.

Garmin 2010 map update

Help!!!
I found that my recently found listings no longer show the address or phone numbers. Only the name of the location after updating my map to 2010. Also many pois no longer work such as trying a search for Linders Furniture Mart (a 10 store major chain in Southern Ca).It was on the 2009 map but not on 2010.

Can anyone advise what to do?

I am using the Garmin 885T.

Thank you,

Tom C.

Built-in POI are often changed. Many locations are deleted because they went out of business or for other reasons known only to Garmin. If a set of locations you normally visit has disappeared from the built-in lists, you probably want to consider creating a custom list. That's the reason behind many of the Custom POI found on this site.
