Map view with green background

Can anyone help, I purchased a nuvi 885T today and so far its great. Just one thing I hate, there is a green background or overlay when viewing street maps. How do I turn off this feature?? It makes it very difficult to see street level info.

This is a bug and you are seeing the DEM (digital elevation model)basemap.
1. Make sure to install the newest firmware v4.50.

One of the issues corrected in v 4.40:
" Corrected the display of the Elevation map in Track Up and North Up map views."
2. Disable the DEM basemap by renaming x:/Garmin/gmapbmap.img to something other than that...try gmapbmap.img.disabled to remind yourself that you disabled it.
