i think i accidentally included a file i didnt want

hey guys, i was trying to upload speed/red warning files onto my unit. i clicked on the folder to get the files from the POILoader but i included the zip file itself aswell including the files i extracted. now does my unit also include the zipfile? or does it automatically assume i did a dumba** move and ignored it?

also.. my unit is new.. on the POI Loader it asked 'remove all previosuly installed custom POIs from your device'... now it may be a stupid question but will i be deleting anything garmin has put on there or are everything in this folder going to be whatever i put in it?

Most likely it will ignore

Most likely it will ignore it but for myself I would run poiloader again and click to remove all custom pois. This only removes the custom poi files you installed. Then re-installed the custom pois with poiloader. If you just ran poiloader again it will overwrite the existing files but for me in this case I would remove them first.

Wrong file

The advise charlesd45 gave is right on what you have to do. Start POI loader and you can clean up the files you input wrong. After you cleaned up the files, open poi loader and install the pois you want.

Gps! ask where to go and get there! Best of all, what we need is to have accurate pois to reach all destinations
