Viewing Custom POIs on your GPS unit

• C320 - Select “Where To”, “My Locations”, “Custom POIs”
• C510 – Select “Where To”, “Extras”, “Custom POIs”
• i3 - Select “Food Hotels and More”, “Custom Points”
• Nuvi 300/310 - Select “Where To”, “My Locations”, “Custom POIs”
• Nuvi 660 – Select “Where To”, “Extras”, “Custom POIs”
• Zumo 550 – Select “Where To”, “Extras”, “Custom POIs”

On the Garmin C550 - "Where to go", "Extras", " Custom POI's".

JM has them listed for each model.

Click on "GPS models" at the top of the page, then on "Garmin" then the specific model.

And on a Handheld...

On a GPSmap 60C(S)x and 76C(S)x, go Find-->custom POIs.

Hey geopierce, welcome to the POI Factory! I take it you saw my post on the MNGCA board? I'm "5savages" over there. (To others...MNGCA is a site about geocaching, in which both geopierce and I participate).

I think using POIs will change the way I geocache....using POIs instead of waypoints I can load more info, easily segregate various caches by type or difficulty, and no long be restricted by my 500 waypoint limit.

Then there's proximity alerts for spontaneous geocaching.
