I see how to send a destination or single place to the GPS via the "send" options. But when I make a route it no longer gives that choice. I searched but didn't find the answer. A little help please. Thanks POI'ers.
Can't be done
Google will send a destination to your gps, but not a route. At least not through their website. I have seen posts about other ways to do it but I almost always take the easy way.
If you just send the destination to your GPS it will route it out for you.
I'm sure you'll soon get comments, or be directed to the posts where it's all explained in minute detail how to import a route
.

Mapquest only. Then you've got to import the data file into your unit. (Your unit must support routes.)

thanks for the info
Garmin didn't "seem" to mention support/partner with Mapquest, but I found it. Alas, my unit (255W) doesn't support routes.
