speed limit signs and time on display

You cannot change either one on that model.

Need the 7X5 series to be able to do those things.

I don't think the 2X5 series can display the time on the map page, so to do all he asks it is the 7X5 series. (can also display many other choices...)

I've got a 755t and by accident I stumbled on the setting to change the display, but backed out without paying attention how I got there... can you tell me how to get back to where I can change the settings.. for example, I think instead of an eta I would rather see "distance to destination", simply because the eta changes everytime you stop for gas, food, whatever, at least with the distance left displayed you can always see how much road you have ahead of you. Thanks for your help.

Current time of day would be nice (660), now that would have made too much sense!

The mph on my nuvi has brought to light the fact that on one of my cars the actual speed indicated on the speedometer is about -3 mph, when in fact the other car is dead on. The former is German, and the latter is Japanese....

After verifying that the 260W and 265WT have the same internal circuit boards, the only exception being the bluetooth receiver in the 265WT, it would be nice if Garmin added display of speed limits to the 260W. This information is already contained in the maps ....

I guess Garmin chooses to make the 260W different from the 255W even though the internals are exactly the same (as also with the 265WT).

I have ordered a new Garmin 780 which I haven't received yet, but the specs show it has a speed limit indicator for most major roads. Until May 3rd Costco is selling these units for $250, which is an exceptional price considering the original price was $600.

Nice, but won't help the poster it will not do what he is asking.....

No secret - on the map screen where it shows time, or elevation or whatever is currently showing, just touch it and a list will come up of what to display.

If you look next to the battery icon in the upper right on the main screen on a 660, you will see the current time. Too bad it's not visible on the map screen though. But I do have a watch and the time is displayed on the radio.

I put in a suggestion to Garmin for the time to display on the map screen.Comment from Garmin was that they could see a need for that.Maybe if some other users make the same suggestion.One day it might happen.
