This might be too much to ask for but...

I have a Garmin C530 which does not show LAT/LON coordinates. Yet, although not visible to me, these must be maintained somewhere for the device to work properly. So is there a file within which I can get at the coordinate locations for my saved favorites? (Assume the device would be connected via USB cable to my PC.) If so, where would these be? If the file is not a text file then I'm also assuming I'd need a way to read and translate the values.
