I deleted my picture on my account edit page. When I try to upload a new pic ( 85 x 85 12kb) the old picture keeps comming back.

YUP! I'm embarassed to admit how many times I got bit by that one.
Click on the Refresh button, F5 should do the same thing, depending on your Browser.

I have found that sometimes with firefox you need to hold Shift when you hit F5, this forces a reload of the page and to override cache.
