Nuvi 760 Updates?

Been gone for awhile... Has there been any Nuvi 760 updates? The last one I did was like around christmas of 2008..

Nuvi 760 update

The Nuvi 760 has been discontinued. The last update was Ver. 4.60, as of Dec 17, 2008. Don't expect any more firmware updates! You may see some updates to language files but that's it. The entire 7x0 series is dead.

There's a rumour that there's a firmware v4.7 on some units being sold now.

where did you hear that?
your statement is inaccurate, Garmin continues to generate updates for discontinued product.
Now if it's bug free is another discussion and post to do a search on.

Always run WEBUPDATER on your unit to be sure your firmware is current, before you do I recommend you see what others are saying before you make that update, so you don't end up with Bugs crawling out of your screen..

I agree, Garmin has issued updates for my "old" Streetpilot c330 and it has been discontinued for a while.
