2009.11 install corrupted

I have a Nuvi 755T and yesterday downloaded the 2009.11 map upgrade. There must have been something wrong with the install as it kept installing over and over. during one of the installs i turned on the Nuvi and was trying to look at the maps. The map wouldn't scroll and kept moving back to home. In any case, after a complete reinstall, the map around my home has a bunch of sqiggly blue lines indicating where I moved the vehicle (during the install). I reloaded the map today and it's still the same. Any ideas?

Garmin, they will give you a new unit, this happend to me 765t while they updated the maps, bricked my unit!! always check the map files before you update the maps to make sure you have a good set!!!

Thanks, I was going to call them anyway because of a lockup problem that's happened 3 or 4 times now. My Verizon dealer gave me a number to get a new unit. Frank

Any chance you interrupted

Any chance you interrupted the install. When I upgraded I noticed that it did the download, stalled for a while,prepared something, made the image for my nuvi, then pushed that to the unit. Then finally when it restarts you have to wait until you get a final message. But mine went fine.

Yes in a way I did interupt

Yes in a way I did interupt the install. During the install I thought something had gone wrong and turned on the Nuvi to check. I tried scrolling the maps but my automobile icon would only move a short ways off of the home icon. I moved it many times trying to look at the map with no sucess. That's how I think I screwed it up...I will try a re-install. thanks,
