Nuvi 680 and alien abduction

Yesterday on a road trip i must have been abducted by aliens along with the GPS , i clicked to view the dashboard view and notice my new max speed was 151 Mph.
i didnt notice a loss of time from my memory so they must have been really good and the old van i was driving does good to make it to 60 much less 151.
anyone have similar expierence or any explinations ?

That is what happens when you put it on cruise control...
I think it has to do with the fact of the unit losing signal and then picking it back up. It then figures the time between the points. I do think that some firmware versions for the 700 series had some mileage issues, but I have not hear that for the 600 nuvi's.
