TRAFFIC LIGHTS PROBLEM

WOW, I WISH THERE WAS A GPS SYSTEM THAT TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION TRAFFIC LIGHTS, I CAN'T BELIEVE SOME OF THE WAYS MY GPS WANTS TO TAKE ME, TO PUT ME ON THE HIGHWAY IT WANTS TO TAKE ME ON A ROUTE THAT HAS MANY LONG TRAFFIC LIGHTS THAT INCREASES MY TRAVEL TIME BY QUITE A BIT, ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS ON THIS

Have you gone into

Have you gone into avoidances and checked traffic? Also, do you have it set to fastest time versus shortest distance.

I once thought I had it set on fastest time when my GPS ended up taking me through some traffic lights. I went back into the system to find it was set to shortest distance. I made sure I changed it to fastest

If you KNOW that there is a better route, just TAKE IT. Before you go too far, it should re-calculate and "catch up" with your idea.

Sometimes YOU are smarter than the GPS; sometimes it's the other way around.

Note: Would it be possible for you to NOT post in all caps ??

i don't undersatnd why people have a problem with caps, it is just dumb, it means nothing and it does not hurt your eyes or ears and no i am not yelling

Just a teensy bit hard on the eyes.

It's just harder to read with old eyes like mine.

Actually a lot of science & marketing goes into typefaces. surprised

All Caps is difficult to read, and the request to use upper and lower case is considered "netiquette" from the earliest days of the Internet.
