Trucker's Model

From what I have heard, this has a couple of issues. The main one being that if you go "off route", it does not pay attention to the parameters set up, and can "possibly" take you on a street that is not set up for trucks.

That being said, I think this is going to be a great device and will finally give the RV and Truck drivers out there a unit that will provide some stability and the ability to stick to the road they want to travel on.

We just have to remember there is nothing perfect in the world, and GPS is a great tool, but is not the end all to be all.

Super

Super I have found only one other unit for the over the road truck driver and that is a new unit called
WorldNav 7100/7200 Truck Route 7" GPS w/BT- IN STOCK Thet have most of what Garmin has but no traffic and you have to stay on the route given cast is 399.99. I am happy Garmin has com out with this. But I do wish that they would make the unit bigger like a 7" screen
