can not turn on-frozen

I have a nuvi 350. I had it connected to my laptop. unconnected it and turned it off. In less than 5 min I turned turning it on and it would not. reconnected it to the laptop and again no power. I have pressed the re set
button and nothing happens.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am on vacation and do need the nuvi to work.

With appreciation

John

This happened to my 760 last year. after a month of owning it. I mailed mine back to garmin, after calling and setting up a claim. They sent me back a new refurbished one, new condition.

They said The solder connection in the switch went bad, broke loose. thus no power every getting to turn on the unit, not switch, not charger, nor cpu.

I sent it in for free, took about 2 weeks total.

Try putting it in the car cradle

Try putting it in the car cradle while the car charger is powered. If it turns on, your power switch on the 350 may have broken. There is a known issue with the power switch on the 350. Even if the power switch is bad, it should power up automatically when you put it in the powered car cradle. It should also power up automatically and go into storage mode when you connect it to a computer USB cable.

Repair

If it does need repair, check out this thread.
