For Bragging Rights ... how many POI's do you load?

Ok, today my POILOADER informed me:

"Congratulations, you have successfully installed 87,269 Points of Interest on your device"

For bragging rights (or to prove your addiction to custom POI's ... how many custom POI's are you currently loading?

I'm not talking about number of POI groups ... I'm talking about individual POI's as reported by POILOADER.

Come on, can anybody beat 87,269?

Does anybody want to beat 87,269

Do I need 87,269 POIs?

No ... but I want them ... and each day, I want more!

Can I possible use 87, 269 POI's?

No ... but you never know.

Maybe it should be titled

How slow do you want to go....

Running about 99,500 on the 760 and 65,000 on the c580.

Well, I don't have any complaints, but they don't return results real quick after I get 50k or so. It has to think about 3-5 seconds on the custom pois. Are you sure you didn't overclock your processor?

WOW!!!

Over 500,000

on the SD Card and about 20,000 alerts on the unit itself. Dont have time to reload to get exact number but somewhere in that range. Unit has no slow down.

Slacker Alert

I feel like a slacker with only 18,939. My excuse (that's the only thing you can call it) is that I only load POI's near where I travel.
How many total POI's are on poi-factory?

498524 POIs

I have 498524 POIs on a SD card.

The only slowdown that I've noticed, is when I go to "Where to->Extras" and click on a list (e.g. McDonald's) it sometime takes a few seconds for the list to display.

Deeper question

I used to have about 150,000 (which equates to about a 45 meg file).

However, I have been on the quest to find the best size POI file so my TTS voice doesn't skip. I have got it down to a 30 meg file and the voice skips occasionally but now my graphics are slow when I make a turn and forget about it when I deviate from the assigned route.

I always chose the CSV files over GPX files, due to their smaller sizes.

I have only about

62,000 on my Nuvi 200. Most I'll probably never use, but one never knows!

Not doing anything worth a darn.

About 78,000 here

all on the unit itself, haven't seen the need to use the SD card. Does it improve performance? Any reason to move them?

Approx 395,000

Approx 395,000, all on the unit

118,554 on my 680

118,554 on my 680
