Hidden Agenda's

Why Connecticut state legislature would even consider such a bill as #1098?

Hidden Agenda's thats why.
The gay rights movement has embraced and is pursuing with stunning audacity, this bill in the Connecticut legislature. Since the Church will not recognize them, then they will "reform" the Catholic Church and take power from the Bishops.

Fr. Frank wrote:

How bout this – if you don’t like the way the Catholic Church is being run, nobody’s forcing you to stay here, so why not leave and go to a church that fits your views. I’m not saying that we’re throwing you out, but the way the Church has been run seems to be contrary to your beliefs – so why keep banging your head into a wall and go to some other place that share your views.

Frank sounds like a wise man to me.
To seek the God-given authority is not the way to wreak revenge for the things we have been offended by.

Jack

Yep, Jack is resting and will soon be back to work on a trip at the end of the month. Going to Solvang and for wildflower pictures. Then may go up the coast a ways - should be nice weather and lots of flowers due to the many rains we have had.

At least it will be a dry cold.... smile

Back from...

Costa Rica. Went down there to see my little sister. Her husband teaches there.

Althought it's supposed to be "dry season" at this time, I was not lucky with the weather; had rain almost every day for two weeks.

But what a change of scenery! Really nice people and green all over. Quite a change from the grey on white of a Montreal winter.

Great

weather we are having in Chattanooga!

Snow in Denver

Much of the road on the way to the airport hadn't been plowed yet. The Vehicle Stability Control on my Toyota kicked in countless times.

I lost control of the car once, and the Camry gave me a stall-like warning sound of short beeps. It took me half a lane on each side of my car to regain control. Good thing no one was around, or I would've been the third accident on Peña Boulevard (the access road to Denver airport).

I had a Vizio

I had a Vizio that had a blank pixel, right out of the box. (Bought it at BJ's). I called Vizio, they shipped me a new one. This was about two years ago. Since then I've bought three more Vizio's - love them, love the price, love the service. Although haven't needed it since my first encounter.

Watched it from the beach

Watched the launch from the beach at the end of our street just North of Daytona Beach. Have probably seen and photographed 20 of the launches but never from the beach.
Was really great, clear skies, exhaust illuminated by the setting sun and an outstanding view of separation even without the aid of binoculars.

Of course, the ultimate ones for me to watch are the night launches - have watched 4 from Ponce Inlet, South of Daytona Beach - AWESOME.
