American Jill and Jack Voiced updates

Daniel (1.2 to 1.4) and Emily (1.5 to 1.7) are similarly updated.

Yet, I run it again and it still lists them as available for updates!

They will continue to show after downloading.At the bottom of the screen you will see info on any changes.

I'm not sure what you mean by seeing changes at the bottom of the screen. Do you mean the webupdater showing successful voice updates--or something on the nuvi?

I had that issue with my 750 after updating voices for quite a while. But for the past several months things work the way I expect them to: after updating an available new voice file, webupdater removes it from my possible future updates when again running webupdater.

I wonder why some (including me earlier but not anymore) continue to see possible voice update downloads already installed while others don't.

For what it's worth, I do keep a PostIt note next to my PC with the latest voice file versions I have in my nuvi so that if I see webupdater suggesting the update, I can check to see if it's one I already have.

When I run webupdater the voices always shown on the 2nd screen.After highlighting selected voice I will see a note at the bottom of the screen.No change history was found for this update.If change is noted then I know to update.Glad it works this way.

Very interesting. It's never worked that way for my 750.

Back when the updates continued to be offered even after their installation, webupdater continued to tell me what was changed from version x to version y (even though I already updated to v.y).

Now after updating a voice file (like yesterday's updates to Jack, Jill, Daniel and Emily), when re-running webupdater, the already updated voices don't even appear on the list of potential downloads.
