Hey there folks. I have tried many times now to load 4 files onto my 760.(Speed-Cameras.csv,Redlight-Cameras.csv,redlight_nuvi_amer_eng_jack,red_light_caution_transparent) I can load the 1st 2 always, but the last 2 will not load. I read Mommas note & tried changing the name of files but still will not load.
For example
redlight_nuvi_amer_jack, changed it to Redlight-Cameras.mp3, didn't work,tried Redlight-Cameras.csv, didn't work, tried Redlight-Cameras, didn't work. I'm very confused. I did same with the other file also(red-light-caution-transparent) & that didn't work either. Any suggestions. Thanx in advance
Are you sure about the file names?
Have you disabled the MS "feature" that hides file extensions for known file types? If not then you are very likely having file name problems that you'll never correct until you do.

Put them all in one folder on your computer and call it for example My pois.Hook Gps unit up to computer and run poiloader.When browse to folder comes up select My pois folder and continue with poiloader.

For XP go to your folder
For XP go to your folder options in the control panel and find hide extensions for known file types and remove the check mark.

Google is your friend, you could have found this in a simple search without waiting for anyone to respond, but ....
Open any "folder" or directory in the GUI. Go to the Tools menu item, select "folder options". Click on the "view" tab. In the list in the window, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and then press "apply".

Glad you got it.Two of the biggest problems with most files not working on the gps unit is how you name them and double extensions.
