Will have "MyRoute" feature that learn your route. Sounds like it may be pretty good.

The article says it will be available for pre-order next week. Then we should be able to get a better idea of release date.

Navigon says they will be available in Q2 of this year so anytime starting in April they may be available.

I thought that the Navigon GPS units were not as good as the Garmin units. Did that change.

This is opening up a can of worms again.

Navigon has generally not received as good of reviews as Garmin.

Their newer models seem to be getting better.

We have some Navigon fans on this board and some people really like them.

Ultimately it is up to you as a consumer to read comments and reviews and decide.

try one you might like it.

Here is 20% off go try one and find out for yourself,
that's the only real way to find out. If people listened nothing but reviews, they wouldn't sell any movie tickets. Most reviews are bought and sold anyway.

There are plenty of user reviews on the web, and most of them are not "bought and sold".

I'm glad I listen to reviews. Before I see a movie I check them out at msn, newspaper sites, etc., and then check out the user reviews at imdb. It has saved me from paying good money to see a lot of truly bad movies. I assume you have seen a lot of stinkaroos.

Navigon User

I have both a navigon and a garmin.
My Garmin is a bit older so take this with grain of salt, and the knowledge that I am by no means a GPS expert or reviewer.
BUT:
my navigon seems to calculate and recalculate much faster than the Gamin. Has a nicer screen and free traffic.
The Garmin is WAY easier to load POIs into and also comes with more than 3x preloaded POIs from the factory.
I have not had to use Navigon's support but Garmin's was top notch the time I used theirs (through e-mail)
I have no complaints about either one and with the POI-Warner program I have installed all the POIs that I want on my Navigon. Though I haven't figured out how to make it display the way I want.
