Navigon (unlocked)

I have had a Navigon 2100 for 6months and recently discovered that I could "Unlock" the unit and add Mio Pocket software to it. Making it a PDA device as well as a GPS. I also found IGO 8 navigation software is much more to my liking then the standard GPS software that came with it.
Through the SD Card ?
did yo do this by "installing" some software to the SD card?

Navigons run on the Windows OS, your unit is not locked nor has it ever been. There are also a few games you can add to it, I don't remember the names just do a google search.
