Question for anyone. Is it possible to replace the Garmin default, rather ugly, tour guide icon ? I would prefer having my preselected POI icons appear when I enter a tour guide zone. The POI icons do appear as expected in their designated locations.

I am not sure what you mean by the TourGuide icon,
If you are referring to the one on the bottom left used to go into the TourGuide details and to control the playing of the sound, then it can't be changed.
If you are referring to the icon for the POI entry using TourGuide functionality, then the answer is yes, the <link href = "Data/POIfolder"/> points to a folder that may contain an icon bitmap (.bmp), an image (.jpg) and/or a sound file (.mp3), assuming you include an icon, then that icon will show for the POI instead of the standard TourGuide icon.
