Garmin nuvi 780 will be on sale for $249.99 at costco.com 3/2/09 thru 3/22/09. It's the lowest price I've seen so far.

I haven't seen the 780 yet.

I haven't seen the 780 yet. Can't wait. Wondering what the difference is between that and the 770.

Lots

The 770 has both European and US maps. It also has a bigger internal drive (I think).

The 780 includes a MSN power cable, but is the same otherwise as a 750 and 760.

Got a 760 for 211

Amazon had the 760 for 211 for a while last week..and you dont have to join costco..so far I like the 760...it is not a huge upgrade from my 660..but I think I will like the route option. I also think you can use some new voices from the Garage...But I like the voices I have...so we will be trying both, and see which one gets to stay....almost cheaper to buy a new unit that to pay for the map upgrade. It comes with the FM traffic receiver cord that is like $100 ...so hard to go wrong..

750/760 v. 770

If I recall correctly the 770 has 4GB internally, and the 750/760 have 2GB, however both take SDHC cards so that's not really a limitation. Also the 760 has Bluetooth whereas the 750 doesn't.
