I want to create a CSV to be able to import in to a colleagues Magellan Roadmate 1412 (using Magellan's software). However I cannot find the CSV file field format.
I need to know what items need to appear in what order in the CSV and what items I can put into the file to display.
Longitude? lattitude? Name? Address? Phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

POI Editor
However I cannot find the CSV file field format.
Roadmate users will be by shortly.........
How do you intend to get the files INTO the Roadmate?
For the Maestro line, you need their POI Editor as it converts from .csv to .mgln for use in the GPS. You can run the editor to see what fields are expected as an input. The only things you really need are lon, lat and a unique name for each location as additional fields are NOT displayed.
More info. in Magellan FAQs on here.

I plan to use Magellan's
I plan to use Magellan's POI Editor to import the file. Since I don't have the software in my hands yet, I was trying to get a jump on what fields are supportted and in what order. I know that with my Garmin the longitute and lattitude had to be in a specific order.
Order not important
I plan to use Magellan's POI Editor to import the file.
..........as the editor will "force" you to designate what each column has in it before it actually loads the data.

POI Format
You have the correct order- longitude, latitude, name/desc. Make sure you use "comma" as the separator.
