Miss POI's Interview with Carey Holzman Discussion Thread

I decided to make a thread with all the comments regarding the interview on Computer America.

Miss POI

At 7:30 Pacific time tonight I will be on the Computer America radio talk show with Craig Crossman and Carey Holzman.

Here is a link to the site: http://www.computeramerica.com/

You can go to the link below to find a station in your area http://www.businesstalkradio.net/zipsearch.shtml

We will post a link to the podcast when it is posted.

I am pretty nervous and excited, I let Jon handle the last interview.

I thought the interviewer was way too much of a blabber mouth...

... I don't know if you're naturally that quiet or not. You seem to have no problem of slapping a few of us around when we get out of line, but that's only thru cyber space and not on the radio.

Anyway, I know how tough it is to be interviewed like that (having been a subject on the air twice). So, you did great.

You did hear

You did hear Cary say he uses the POI-Factory didn't you, so lets not be harsh. Radio personality's have to be sure that there isn't any dead air and protect their show. While you may think he was to much of a talker, he was just making sure the conversation kept moving, I myself would have like to had him be a little more diverse on the topic matter. With that said I do believe the interview was a positive one for all of us.

Let's keep it positive guys

Carey is a great guy and a wonderful interviewer. Please keep in mind that when you see a face to face interview the other person can tell when you are about to say something. When you are doing a phone interview there are no cues that tell you when the other person wants to speak.

Glad you posted the mp3 links!

Miss poi,

I'm SO glad you posted the mp3 links to your interview! I was unable to find the show when it was announced. I thought I had missed my chance to hear you 'in person'.

It's obvious to me from the general appearance and the content of this site that you are spending HUGE amounts of time 'herding the cats'. As a matter of fact, you should change the windmill to a herd of cats. It seems to describe all of us perfectly. smile

But I digress - I do that a lot. I wanted to compliment you on your terrific interview. You did a professional job. I would have been a total basket case if that had been me. I'd love to see if there was a significant spike on the web site 'hit-o-meter' from before to after the show.
