How do I get rid of music loaded on my 550?

The previous owner had some tunes on it I am trying to get rid of. They are NOT on the SD card because they play when the card is out. I tried using Windows Search for *.mp3s on the Garmin and still nothing comes up. But I know they are in there. How do I find them and remove them?

Also, how do I remove all his POIs and map routes?

(I'm assuming you are using a pc, not mac)
Connect the 550 to the computer, Look in "my computer" and find the 550, "open" or "explore", then find and delete the MP3 folder.

While you are in there, look in the poi folder, and delete the contents. You could also, remove existing poi, by loading a new poi file. Poi loader will also ask if you want to remove existing poi. But, since you're in the folders, just delete the contents of the poi folder.

The 550 doesn't have "routing" capability. Maybe you're thinking of "favorites" if so, http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1483 may help.

I'm sure I've left something out, but the above should help.
