Hey Folks!
I was uploading some new POI files to my Nuvi 350 and it turns out that I accidently deleted all the pre loaded POI files, IE the ones that came shipped on the unit. Any idea how to get them back? I dont have access to the CD's that came with the unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The built-in POIs are contained in the Map files. So, unless you deleted your detailed map file, you haven't lost them. What leads you to believe they are gone?
Loading custom-POIs has nothing to do with the built-in POIs. Custom-POIs are found under Extras and the built-ins are found under Food&Lodging button.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
.
Check to see that your map didn't get deselected.
Go to Wrench/Settings > Map > Map Info and be sure your map is checked.

Well, i would select Food, gas, lodging, and nothing would be available. I had to restore everything but the map file (the huge 1 gig file) and it started to work again.
Great!

That is the important thing, but I can't help wondering . . . I assume by "restore" you mean overwriting the current files with a backup copy. Since the built-in POIs are in the map file you didn't replace and the firmware is not reachable by copying files . . . ????
