nuvi 755t -- battery

I can only get 2 hours out of my new 755t. I have it connected to my car charger for the FM traffic and thought that would keep the GPS battery charged. What do I do on a 7 hour trip if the battery is only good for 2 hours?

If your unit is turning off because of low battery when connected to the cigarette lighter receiver/charger, then something is not working correctly. Are both LED's on the receiver green in color? One is the power light and the other is the FM signal reception.
