HP Exiting PND Business

They're discontinuing updates for iPaq 310 owners.
Some consumers paid a lot of money for these units, and now they're SOL.
It makes me wonder about the logic of buying from a company who's main business isn't in PND's such as HP, Asus, Sony, Sanyo, etc.
At least Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, and Navigon have supported their units.

Just don't buy a PC from any of the PND manufacturers that you listed if they should ever release one to market
