What map version on Nuvi

My wife has a Garmin 350 purchased in Dec. 2007 with the original maps. North American Ver 8. Is this the 2007 maps or the 2008 maps.

Check the info Screen,
Check the info Screen, should be under Map Settings, and it will tell you the map set that you have installed.
On the 350...
click on settings and then click on "Map". Down at the bottom of the screen, in the middle, click on "Map Info". That will tell you what version is currently loaded.

I'm pretty sure that ver 8 was the version prior to 2008. It wasn't called 2007. If you bought after Aug (?), you should have been eligible for 2008; did you register immediately? I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Note that version 2009 is the current version. The next version (possibly numbered 2010) will likely be released in Spring 2009. And also note that you can skip versions.
Note that the OP indicates that the unit was purchased in December 2007.
