Not sure what you mean by "won't hold PC". Can you give more details?

You're likely not using the Garmin supplied cable, because Garmin doesn't supply one. At least not with my lower end nuvi. My first guess with the limited information here is that you have a falkey cable, can you try a different one?

my 765T came with a USB cable

but I am not forced to use it...I use a different one here at work, and it works just fine...I have not had the problem of the connection dropping...I agree that the cable is probably the culprit.

And be sure that you are plugging directly into the computer and through USB hub.

oops...missed your lane assist question

if you are referring to the Junction View, that shows a "lifelike" overhead road sign, and large white arrow directing you to the proper lane for an exit, in my experience, it doesn't show up much at all. I have only seen it pop up once around the metro Pittsburgh area, and was surprised not to see it even once during a recent trip on I79 and I77.

there is a new feature on this model however that appears in the upper left corner of the screen during a route, that indicates both the distance AND the direction and lane you need to be in for the next turn.

765T hold PC

I'm using the cable that came with it. I also use the same cable with my 760 and it works.

I have seen the "real" junction view

I have seen the "real" junction view 3 time here in cleveland all 3 time i was on route 90 in different places. One of those 3 times the "real" view poped up but i did not see the multi arrows indicating which lane to be in, i thought they went together. It was cool, but it will be cooler, when i'm in an area that i don't know.

Similar problem, but reversed!

I had a similar connectivity problem with my 200W but only when trying to load the CNNT NA 2009 map to my SD card in it. It kept quitting with an I/O error after 6% to 30% downloaded to the card. The odd thing is that I was able to use my 765T to load the card by switching units between the map build and transfer steps.

I have noticed that sometimes my 765 can be erratic though.. seems like the connector at the cable to the nuvi doesn't always make a positive contact. It's always been fixable by unplugging then plugging it back in. The Garmin supplied cable is worse than another usb to mini-usb cable I have as well, but both do it to some extent.

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.
