Forward looking POIs

Is there a way to get my Garmin 850 to ignore the POIs I have passed and only show the ones that are ahead of me. It is very frustrating to have to scroll thru' dozens of POIs that are in the rear view mirror when traveling on the interstates. I am only interested in those that I will come to not those I have left behind. Maybe Garmin could implement a switch that allows us to turn them on and off. I have heard of other GPSs that have this feature. Any one heard of this before.. indyjkraft

When you search, you could search for along my route or near my destination. Those don't show pois from behind.

about that, too. It seems like it always shows everything behind, and nothing ahead.
