Sony Nav-U

I have tried every trick in the book to determine Sony Nav-U U44 XML file format but to no avail. It would seem to me that converting any CSV file to XML would work but it just won't load. I have tried the VB script loader mentioned in the POI file area here, but to no avail. There must be a developer guru out here someplace that can help convert the CSV files to Sony XML. I am most interested in Rest Areas as when we travel, it's nice to have a "potty break" programmed along the route with a nice two mile alert. Anybody have any idea how to automate conversion to Sony XML format?

As a starting point, can you post links to any documentation for Sony's XML format?

Sony XML format

I don't have a link to their format, however have found this posted on this site (see below). I do have a sony generated xml file from my unit that i can upload if you have a place to upload it.

Son'y Nav-u PC software allows you to back up your POIs into a proprietary "Address Book" XML file. It also allows you to open these files and restore them. Anyway, I hacked together a little VBS script that converts the Garmin CSV POI files to Sony's XML format. Its cludgy and will get tripped up depending upon the file format and delimeters (comma only, comma with quote, mixed, etc.)

I've uploaded it here:
