When will the 2010 Navtaq map be available

I want to update my map and I would like to know in what month of 2009 will the 2010 map be available?

Hard to Tell

It's hard to tell. The 2009 maps came out in May (May 1, I believe) last year.

Thanks, I guess it comes out about 6 months before the beginning of each year.

Do you know if there is another site besides Garmin to check to see what maps are available?

Maps

The only place (that I know of) to check for 'official' maps is the Garmin site. Other people have made various custom maps, but the only official place is the Garmin web site (http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/us/maps).

Next Map Updates

There was a rumour over on GpsPasSion that Garmin was going to introduce more frequent updates with a subscription model in early 2009. I'm still hoping that this comes to pass, and that my 2720 is supported with it.
